Introduction

The care home would be operated by our sister company, Crystal Care Collection, a provider offering superior standards of living and support for residents.

LNT Care Developments is preparing a planning application for submission to North Northamptonshire Council. Ahead of this, we are keen to hear feedback on our plans from the local community.

The proposals for this site are for a new state-of-the-art care home offering the highest standards of social inclusion, community and wellbeing in the sector.

With a rapidly ageing population across the country and outdated existing provision, there is a clear need to deliver new, high-quality homes that address this demand and meet modern expectations of what a care home should offer.

We welcome your feedback

Our website is open to feedback until Thursday 20 August 2026. Please visit the Proposals page to learn more about our plans for the site. You can also provide feedback via the Have Your Say page.

We will be holding a Public Exhibition on 11 August 2026 between 3pm-7pm at Kettering Town Football Club, Latimer Park, Polwell Lane, Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, NN15 5PS.

Members of the project team will be on hand to answer any questions relating to the proposals.

Why Now?

The need for a new home

The UK population is rapidly ageing; the number of people aged between 65 and 70 is projected to increase by 30% within the next decade, peaking at 10 million by 2060. Within the same timeframe, the 80+ age group is projected to double, reaching 6 million.

Meanwhile, the UK’s existing care home supply is increasingly outdated, with 75% of facilities more than 20 years old and only 35% offering en-suite facilities. There is a clear need for new, high-quality care home facilities focused on creating socially inclusive communities for older residents, meeting modern expectations of what a care home should offer.

“At LNT we build great places to live, work and visit. We build homes that are loved by residents, families and the people who care for them.”
